The Senior Scramble is a fun, yet competitive program where seniors team up on two-player teams and compete in a scramble format against those of similar age. Golf courses will host a one-day qualifier in which they will crown champions in three Age-Flights: 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and older. Proceeds from the Senior Scramble go toward the enhancement of your PGA Section’s military veterans programming, and the Military Warriors Support Foundation’s HOMES4HEROES program.
The format of the Senior Scramble is Doubles Golf™, which allows for a less stressful and more “relaxed” approach to golf competition, where teammates can accent each other’s strengths while offsetting each other’s weaknesses.
The Senior Scramble is open to both men and women, aged 50 and older. Players will team up and compete against others in the same Age-Flight: 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s and older. Players must use their age as of March 1st, 2019 when registering.
The host facility determines the length of the golf course, with the required minimum yardages being:
The cost per person is $50 ($100 per team). Please be aware that a facility reserves the right to charge additional fees in the form of cart fees and greens fees.
